Too Young.

So, over the weekend I went to Star City with my family. I didn't really go there willingly, they just dragged me along for no apparent reason. So yeah, I spent the week away from home in some swanky hotel room. Normally, i'd be all over the idea of going out (that's a lie), but the fact that I was underage in a casino left me with practically nothing to do. Guards blocked the entrances to the casino, and most of the other places of interest, for that matter. Most of the time, while my parents were out with friends, eating out, or whatever, I just walked around the city out of boredom.

It wasn't too bad, though. The city is actually a pretty cool place. There's a lot of restaurants, and places to go shopping, but being the poor little boy that I am, these places were out of reach. There are also a lot of large buildings, and people too, for that matter. Most of the streets and intersections were clogged with people, and getting around from place to place was pretty crazy. It was also pretty scary, especially because I was all alone. ;_; That aside, I walked a lot. With nothing to do at the casino, I just walked and walked. It's a miracle nothing bad happened to me while I was out, especially at night.

One of the coolest places I found on my walks was this little Japanese import store, that sold nothing but snacks, drinks, and a huge assortment of instant noodles. I pretty much lived off this store for the duration of my stay, since it was cheap, and the food tasted pretty good. It also showed me how crappy the Australian snack food industry was. I mean, the snacks we produce are nothing compared to the stuff they sold there.

Well, yeah. Sounds boring? It was. But it wasn't too bad. I mean, I could've just stayed in the room and watched television all day. Now that would've been boring. Well, that wraps up this trip, until next time, see you.

Rebirth.

So I recently took the time to look over this blog, and I realise what i'm missing now that I used to do before. It's that old self-humility or self-degradation stunt that I used to pull on myself. Like, you know, the time when I started thinking that I was a failiure? Started sometime in December last year. You gotta admit, that was pretty funny. It seemed pretty well received, and that's kinda reflected in the comments posted during that time. Yup, feedback is that important.

So yeah, in order to make this place cool again, i'll find something that I can make fun of myself about, and we'll see what happens then. Or, hey, you can supply some suggestions. Go ahead guys, I really need an ego boost right now, and when I see comments coming up, you have no idea how good that makes me feel. ;_; It's kinda ironic how comments that suggest how I can insult myself make me feel better, but that's beside the point.

Apart from that, expect to seem some more original content around here, since nothing much is happening IRL. Nothing is really happening in my life anymore, so I don't really have anything to make quality posts about, but i'll draw more comics, and I might even add in more segments, provided I have the time to, to make up for the lack of good posts. 4koma Laziness -04 - Time to Rock.

Uncertainty.

So, my band had it's first practise session yesterday, and we're uncertain of what we're doing anymore. The session was fun and all, but we encountered some problems when we discussed our song choices. Something's up with the tuning, and we don't have a proper vocalist. So yeah. What we're playing sounds pretty weird, to say the least.

Just saying, is all. But i'm taking suggestions, so go ahead and comment. Preferably something without too much vocals, because that's what we are lacking. Whatever you comment won't necessarily be chosen and performed by us, but yeah, go ahead anyway. That's it for now, until next time.

Gotta Break that Habit.

Alright, i'm alive, and most of the work that I have had to do has been completed. "Most of it" being a slight exaggeration, there's still a lot to go, but that's beside the point. The holidays are coming up, and i'm going to be pretty busy, with assignments to do, and music stuff to practise. Our band group thing is playing Dirty Little Secret by the All American Rejects for the band assessment, and i'm getting into that.

On the topic of music stuff, i've joined another band, with Shane, Jason, and Jason's seemingly rich friend, and we're calling ourselves Unknown Artist. It's going to be pretty awesome, because we're actually going to do stuff, unlike Dis-band which seems to have crawled into a corner and is very slowly disappearing into oblivion. The idea was great, but we just didn't get around to doing anything, really.

Anyway, our current song lineup is Sic, as well as Surfacing, both by Slipknot and also Tears Don't Fall by Bullet for my Valentine. Don't diss our song choices, we're going to play whatever the hell we want. We're going to be performing at a Battle of the Bands competition sometime during the holidays, and i've started practising for that. It's big thing, for us, at least.

Anyway, moving along with this update, my Internet is being really weird, and the router has stopped broadcasting it's awesome wireless Internet rays of awesome or however the hell it works. Point is, wireless Internet isn't working anymore, and i'm writing this on my ancient laptop plugged into said router. It's really annoying, my laptop runs out of batteries real fast, and it's too far to be plugged into a power outlet. Needless to say, my torrenting and Internet activity has been affected, and i'm really pissed.

Overload.

Alright, so i'm coming out of temporary death, to tell you guys about another upcoming temporary death. Hooray. Why? Well, teachers have suddenly decided to dump a crapton of assignments on us, and I have like, no time to waste doing whatever. Yeah. There are like, 5 assignments waiting in the queue to complete, and man, this stuff's going to take a while to get done.

We have like, a speech, a band performance, a solo musical performance, a self-drawn manga and a dance routine to come up with and complete, all before the term is over. Overload man, overload. Well, yeah, just a warning. I'll be out of this, for a while.

Just Keep Coming Back.

Oh snap, i'm alive and well, but this place is deader than dead. But there's a reason for that. You see, i've come back from school camp which lasted the whole week, and i've come back pretty damn tired. By the time i've fully recovered, i'll have forgotten most of the details, so like, don't count on getting a post on it anytime soon. It wasn't that interesting anyway, I guess.

Well, just saying, i'm back. Other than camp, some other stuff has happened. I've gotten a haircut, and surprisingly enough, I agreed to have it done. It's pretty much the same though, I just decided to get it cut because of the extreme heat. My head also feels much lighter now, for whatever reason. Also, while I was away on camp, fully subbed Blu-Ray rips of Summer Wars were released on Tokyo-Tosho. It may not seem like much to you, but like, I jizzed my pants pretty hard. Waited quite a while to see it, and it sure lived up to my expectations. Also, KAZUMAAAAAAA!

Oh yeah, I made the switch to Windows 7 pretty recently. It's sexy. So very sexy.

Uh, yeah, you've preobably noticed the new template by now? Just me exercising my HTML skills. Meh. Report any problems if there are any, i'm still new to this stuff.
